What a nice and humble addition to your collection ;-)
I must admit you have great taste...all these watches seem to be in a very collectable condition!
I like the 1533G the most of all Monaco's...probably because this model has got me started collecting Heuer watches in the first place. Also the PVD Monaco is a beast although I do not have one in my private collection....maybe one day???
Anyway, you have to wear all of them...don't leave them all the time in a banksafe. Enjoy these watches, enjoy life, wear them in good health! I wear all of my watches but won't deny that I'm very picky about when to wear a specific watch.
I ussually have only one "valuable" watch at home...the rest I keep in a banksafe. Since I have to visit my bank every three or four days that's not a big deal at all...
Best regards from Belgium,
Abel.
: Just thought I would share a few new additions to my collection.
: Thanks to Nic Green for selling me these fantastic watches which
: are even better in the flesh than I expected.
: I did think long & hard about the PVD Monaco as I wasnt sure
: how much I liked it compared to the traditional colours. Having
: just received it I have to say its a fantastic watch & even
: better than I thought it would be. The bright red/orange hands
: really stand out against the black surface.
: The down side is the price & a wife non to happy her shopping
: trips are curtailed.
: The big question is do I now risk wearing the PVD or keep it locked
: in a safe? I think my view is that watches are for wearing &
: what the hell if I get a few knocks over the years as it adds to
: the character & hopefully doesnt diminish the value too
: much.
