It seems that you have paid about the price that we have seen for others sold on ebay. And you also have the comfort of there being three other bidders, above the 1,500 Euro level . . . so if you were to have a change of heart, or simply decide that this one is not for you, then there is little "downside" as there seem to be other collectors interested in buying these at strong / reasonable prices.
Enjoy this one . . . very different from the three Monacos, and it looks like a fun watch.

: Hi John.
: This first Skipper (and the only one to use the Carrera case, they
: were Autavia-based after this) isn't in the '67 catalogue
: either:
:
: The watch never seems to have made it into Heuer literature, which
: perhaps explains why there were some doubts expressed when one
: first surfaced! But they have been confirmed as genuine and
: there is indeed a picture of one in the TAG-Heuer museum
: somewhere on the forum. And 1967 should be about right too.
: If it helps allay the concerns over spending near to the BIN price
: in auction, just think of the premium it would have if the seven
: letters of the name were C-A-R-R-E-R-A instead of S-K-I-P-P-E-R!
: It's an interesting, distictive watch (the Autavia Skippers went
: for less psychedelic colours, after all) and I reckon another
: one to wear with pride.
