what about the difference in height of the actual bezels..maybe you should pop the inserts out and take some measurements..could it be that the recess on one is slightly shallower than the other, thus not allowing it to sit flush in the bezel itself?
Also, are you sure about the 1163 decompression bezel not being available? I remember seeing one...
