I can't believe a year has already elapsed either.
As for myself, I can tell that it was Chuck's merit (or fault :-)?) if I got stuck with the collector's bug: till then I was happy enough with my run-of-the-mill current-production Moonwatch, then by reading Chuck's articles on it I veered to his other compositions and that was it...his definitive Lemania 5100 article was the final straw, and I had to look for one.
In Chuck's honour tomorrow I will wear my re-edition silver dialled hand-wound Carrera, which kickstarted my interest in Heuers.
