It is a double backed case. It has a stamped serial number 1427939 on both backs, and the number 42 is stamped on the case edge on back and front. Glass opens nicely so I can clean the porcelain dial. It appears to have been serviced 13 times, judging by the engraved dates, the earliest being 3494 all the way to 03-03, when I had it serviced.No signature anywhere.
