: roundish, would support the thought of a Monaco.

Please take a look at Chuck Maddox's blog entry dated Sep 1st, 2005, where he identifies Rauch's (Stahler in the movie) chrono as a Bucherer, equiped with a movement later found to be a Landeron. This movement has a very particular characteristic where, unlike almost every other chronograph, top pushbutton starts the chrono and the bottom pushbutton stops it and returns hands to zero.
