: So we have the usual possibilities, which we have discussed so many
: times about so many watches: fake, in
: which case it seems to be very well done, in terms of the
: quality and finish,
: very low production / rare watch, and perhaps
: never sold in the United States so that our expert would not
: have seen or heard of it, or
: prototype, that never went into production.
: Of course, these last two possibilities (low production or
: prototype) raise the question of "what is it worth?"
: If it is a genuine Heuer, of low production and with the name
: "Indy" on the dial, that would seem to make it
: valuable. Others may simply view it as an oddball watch, from
: the years when Heuer was struggling, and ascribe little value to
: the name on the dial or the scarcity.
