I agree with the comments and yes def worth keeping and quite correct it SHOULD tick x 2 beats per sec. However, it is still possible to get parts if you have a decent watchmaker and he / she has good contacts. Mine replaced a coil and thus the watch was not working with a new battery change for just £35.
