Scott,

No need to email me a picture. I found the one you are refering to...

Juse for a point of reference, for the future... MVC-003F.JPG Isn't a model number, and neither is /g.30...

MVC-003F is just a file name assigned by the camera that took the picture of that watch. I suspect that Jeff used a Sony Mavica camera of somesort to take that picture... Nikon's for example name pictures DSCxxxxxx.jpg for point of preference. So you now have a better idea why I couldn't figure out which stopwatch you were refering to...

As for this particular stopwatch... I'd be surprised to see a watch of this type in comparable condition go for less than $100-150 or more than $250-300 on eBay. With my best guess what it would fetch being somewhere in the $125-175 range.

Were this watch a rattrapante (Split-Second model) or a model with a conventional watch in addition to the basic stopwatch, it would be worth more... A pocket watch/stop like this would probably fetch $350-500, a Rattrapante Stop (only) would probably fetch $250-400 (easy) and a watch that was both a Pocket Watch and rattrapante would fetch between $550-800 (or more)...

I'm sure that Jeff Stein or Charles Rush might have differing (and probably better) gustimates on value, worth or probabilities, but those are my best guesses. Of course the best way to build up a knowledge of what the going rate on the street is to scour the completed auction listing on eBay on a frequent basis.

I hope this helps.
