Looking for help to refinish an NSA bracelet

I have been looking for a bracelet to go with my "Bellof" Montreal (Thanks Bill/ Squinky for the confirming the correct model reference from the original NSA sales guide! ).

While I couldn't find a stainless steel version, I did find one with an old PVD coating. I'm looking for some help in removing the remaining PVD coating and then restoring the bracelet back to the original condition of the bracelet used for the Montreal- see below for a photo of the bracelet and of the Heuer catalog showing the watch and bracelet.
