I found Verona not racing but some kind od "luxury".
All of you are right with strap, but probably it will not be croco but some other.
about vintage buckle - ebay is one of very good sources but be prepared to pay more than $100 per one.
If you dont mind new one I saw it for cca 40 pounds + shipping. Also you can order one from Tag Heuer, but only when you are asking complete overhault.
about value : no idea, but someone has it on wishlist and wanted to trade for Omega PO. so for me it means that Verona can has similar value.
