I couldn't resist the urge to open up the case and have a look at the non running movement before sending it to the watchmaker. A little disappointed I was to see the inside of the case, obviously a lot of dirt has entered the crack between the case and caseback. However the movement looks complete and mostly in a fine condition. Shouldn't be a problem to get it in a pristine condition again for a good watchmaker I guess.
What would be a good strap for this watch? I like the Heuer(-style) straps with the "holes", but I'm not sure if this was ever an original strap to this model, and where to get one.
Thanks, Ron.
