: and a 2446C Autavia GMT that I'd be afraid to wear in the
: rain due to its age. My Autavia re-issue is pretty bullet proof
: so it gets to endure the tough days. While we Heuer enthusiasts
: don't like the re-issue's bezel in comparison to the original
: model, it does make it relatively impervious to scratches. I can
: bang this watch around a bit without too much worry about
: damaging it. The bracelet is pretty robust, too. There are quite
: a few of these on e-bay at present. Probably a testament to the
: failure of this model to attract a significant following. Let's
: hope Tag Heuer decides to present a new Autavia re-issue during
: their 150th Anniversary that better mimics the original. In the
: meatime, though, I'll enjoy this model as my go-to knock around
: wearer.

: Atlanta. The flood pictures on CNN are pretty scary and
: shocking. Hopefully we in central Virginia are pulling the bad
: weather away from you. We aren't expecting any significant
: flooding here, so far.
