Hi All -

Well after a month or so of reading the boards and "deciding" on one vintage Heuer after another, I finally landed on one:

I really wanted an orange and blue combination and love the styling of this and the dial color. I came to Heuer the way most people did (Monaco) but this is really more my style and I'm quite happy with it.

The bracelet has to go - it's some sort of third party "Expando" and the springbars are worn out. For the time being I've put a cheap rally band on it but I'm curious as to people's opinions on what to go for. I like Squinky's Corfam bands but wonder if the blue will match. Also, I'd prefer a deployment clasp over a buckle, but is that period correct? What band would have come with this model when bought new?

Also, the band I bought today is 20mm, and seems to fit perfectly. Does that match up with what you'd expect?

Thanks in advance for any advice and I'm really happy to be part of the vintage Heuer crowd.

-Alex
