Scan Day Announcement:
Next Week's Theme

Sunday is Leap Day. So for next Monday's Scan Day, we're going to ask you to set your “Way Back Machine” to Leap Day 2000, and the watch that was on your mind that day.

The watch in question can be: the watch you were most likely wearing, a watch you had just bought, one that you were considering the purchase of, one you had just placed a bid on eBay for, one you just sold, and if you'd prefer, you can set your "Way Back Machine" to any previous leap day and tell us one of those or similar things from that Leap Day. Some of us may have to scour eBay feedback ratings looking for familar names to jar our memories. Some of us may have been just one of the "unenlightened watch wearing masses" who hadn't been bitten yet by the watch collecting bug (in which case show us a picture of your Seiko, G-Shock, or other common-man's watch), while others will remember what watch they were obcessing about very vividly.

We could pick a different topic, but this one only comes around every four years and it seemed like a good time.

Leap Day will hopefully jar some people to take their pictures early and not be late posting (Mr. Maddox I'm looking pretty hard in your direction) this week.

Looking forward to your contribution...

-- Chuck
