Welcome to the world of Heuer in that case!
These economy watches don't attract the interest of the "series" watches, and thus not the premium that those watches do. The Carrera with exactly the same movement would likely run you an additional 250 Euros on top of that price, for instance.
Some of the economy watches over the years had chrome-plated base metal cases, but this one is steel, which is a bonus - it's less likely to look tired than the plated case. It's pretty rare now to get any Heuer for that sort of money nowadays; I'd say it's a reasonable price and any Heuer of that period with silver dial and charcoal registers is an attractive watch. Here's my similar Carrera (movement is 7734 rather than 7733, which means it gains the date window):
I'd say this would be a nice introduction to Heuers and watches in general.
