Perhaps I Posted Too Quickly

Maybe I hit the "Post Button" too quickly (which can happen with the Wifi at 38,000 feet, after four hours sleep each of the last two nights).
The real revelation for me, seeing it in the metal, is that it is old . . . got to guess at least 20 or 30 years.
Over the weekend, I will pull out Occam's Razor, and try to assemble a coherent story of who actually made these things: maybe Heuer?? maybe a surplus / scrap dealer?? But, seeing this one rather than the usual NOS variety, I am farily certain that they were made a long time ago.
