Yes to many the name does make the watch and so a no-name is worth less.
By the way, this 'no-name' version was listed as an economy chrono in the mid-80's catalogues, so it turned out to be economy indeed even 25 years on.

I remember a similar, though in worse conditions, no-name Silverstone go for less than 900 EUR but this seems to have broken a record low if we consider the sheer value of the bracelet as Bullit correctly points out.
