This one has several signs of being a fake, along the lines of numerous ones that we have been seeing on a recurring basis (30 to 50 per year current run-rate -- ??):
Most of these have been offered by sellers in South America. They are probably being made by adding the "Heuer" to the Leonidas dial, or by adding both names to a "non-name" chrono.
: Do you think so? I'm not so sure.
: There's plenty of guys here who know more than
: I about Heuers, but I didn't think that the
: Leonidas and Heuer names ever officially
: appearered together on dials despite their
: merger?
: It may be genuine and original, but if I was
: thinking of bidding (& I'm not) my gut
: reaction would be - "old Leonidas with
: added Heuer logo".
: As I say though, this may be perfectly genuine
: & I may be showing my ignorance!! :-)
