So How Do We Value the Calculators Right Now?

So how would our readers value the Caliber 12 version of the Calculator, black dial or blue dial, in near mint condition, on the original bracelet?

I would have guessed that they struggle to break through the $2,000 level; I had someone tell me that they can touch $3,000, but I can't recall seeing such a "3 Handle". Check Chrono24, and we see exactly four offered, spread between $2,000 and $2,400; there is an outlier, offered at $3,600, but that doesn't tell us much (except that there is one optimistic seller).

Thoughts from our panel of experts?

: I wish it did- but I think this is a one off and I'm surprised that
: a bid of USD2500 (EUR1700) wasn't enough to let it go- seller
: posts at OTD.

: I look back at the watches that Alex and Abel sold at Chronotrader
: over the last few months- I believe both in the 1000-1200 EUR
: range. Those were in excellent condition as well.

: Sometimes a watch captures the imagination...of at least 2 bidders!
