Here's a nice one, dated April 1978.

The Monaco is gone; the Carrera is now barrel-shaped; and the 1158 Carrera is selling at $2,160, on a leather strap. Wow . . . that was a lot of money for a watch back then!!

Ordinary Caliber 12 chronographs were selling in the range of $290 to $439, with a Caliber 15 Monza available at $255.
