Carrera 30 Dial without the "T" for tritium

Dear Heueristi,

I would be glad if someone of the cracks here would enlighten me:

I have been offered a Heuer Carrera 45, which is in very good condition. However, the dial is missing the "T" for tritium but the dial obvisiously has tritium markers. If I remember correctly there has been a discussion here on the forum about those dials (can't find it though...).

Did Heuer ever produce such dials or should I let the watch pass?

Your inputs are very much appreciated....

Cheers,

Marco
