I have heard some of Coti's stuff, and you are right it's good!... he is big in Spain...
The very first time I heard Calamaro's music was back in 1995 when he was still with Los Rodriguez, they made good music together, but his solo stuff is excellent.

In my opinion, the best Rock en Espanol comes from Argentina and Spain.
