TAG just decide that they aren't going to go to the trouble of having the movements certified. Besides, it's just a bit of paper that says "at this moment in time this movement was very accurate".
Also, when the Link Automatic Chronograph became the Link Chronometer Chronograph the price went up GB£100. I think I'd rather have the money in my pocket than the COSC cert!! :-)
