It's an attractive result, even if accidental, and I understand it's valued at a premium in some watches.
So I was quite surprised to see a Carrera on eBay today where the dial had gone through a dark chocolate phase, passed right by milk chocolate and ended up at white chocolate!
It seems to have been caused by water ingress over and above UV exposure, as evidenced by the bubbling on the dial, but it actually looks quite nice. To me at least. Cal 11 movement, on a 4/70 GF bracelet.
