you use two phrases that may hold the key: you indicate that the timer is "well-used" and has a name etched into the case. the value will likely be determined largely by these factors.
I would say that the "baseline" for this one would be about $400 to $450. I am being conservative (low), and assuming that "well-used" means in average condition for a used stopwatch of this period. It may also depend on the condition of the carrying case, as these are important to the collectibility.
Post a photo or send me one, and we can probably fine-tune this estimate. We always like to have postings of interesting items and these timers are really neat.
