: Hi,
: Tag Heuer has a team in their HQ in
: Switzerland, that specializes in servicing
: old Heuers.
: You can go to an authorized Tag Heuer service
: center and ask them to send your watch to
: the guys in Switzerland. When they receive
: your watch in Switzetland, they will inform
: you (via the authorized service center in
: your country) what they can do with your
: watch and how much that will cost.
: They usually do a full service and they replace
: crown, pushers and IF they have the specific
: dial and hands they replace them too if
: needed (dials are a bit rare).
: They do not refinish the case.
: The service can cost from 300-500 euro
: depending on the model, the condition of the
: watch and the parts that have been replaced.
: Expect to have your watch back in 3-6
: months.
Hi Kav,
thanks for the info, it looks like I would have to do without the watch for quite some time! My model is a 1163V which is not that rare, so hopefully spare parts are available. Regarding the case, it shows heavy wear, do you mean the service center would no touch the case at all or does a case refinish simply have to be ordered seperately?
