I still enjoy my Monaco Re-edition CW2111... a nice re-interpretation of the classic IMHO... and at $1,500 a relative bargain...
that said I much prefer vintage originals to re-editions, and I originally was attracted to vintage pieces 10 years ago because of their history and since their prices were so much more attractive than the MSRP of current collections... however, that price advantage has long since vanished and I now find myself hard pressed to justify purchasing either a vintage piece or a re-edition when they are now selling in the $5,000 and up range...
