Setting the date on a Heuer Monza

I just got a vintgage Heuer Monza with the crown on the left side. I was wondering if you could tell me if there is a way to set the date without
going through the 24 hours of the day? I can't find an itermediate stop on the crown to just set the date, and not the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
