: I just got a vintgage Heuer Monza with the
: crown on the left side. I was wondering if
: you could tell me if there is a way to set
: the date without
: going through the 24 hours of the day? I can't
: find an itermediate stop on the crown to
: just set the date, and not the time. Any
: help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
: Jeff

Jeff:
I believe that the Monza has a "quick-set" feature, as do all the Cal. 11 / 12 / 14 / 15 chronographs.
Turn the crown to advance the time; when it clicks over midnight, the date should advance by one day; then move the hands BACKWARDS to around 9:00 or 10:00 pm (and you should hear a soft "click" from the movement); then roll FORWARD again, and it should advance another day when it crosses midnight again.
Please confirm that this works.
Thanks for the posting and good luck with the Monza.
