No time to comment on this one now, as it's a busy Sunday, but I wanted our readers to see a very interesting Monaco, to be sold by Antiquorum, on June 10th. It's a "transitional" Monaco, previously owned by entertainer Sammy Davis, Jr.

Sometimes we need to use the 10X loupe, and a bit of our imagination, to identify a watch from an old photograph. The photo of Sammy Davis, Jr., visiting the troops in Vietnam, leaves no doubt at all that he is wearing a Monaco. What an interesting new addition to our group of "Celebrity Heuers" / Heuer ambassadors!!
