Ok, with the WC days away, I wanted to get some thoughts about pairing our favorite watches with a national team style of play. Here are some of my thoughts:

Monaco = Brazil; the top of the heap, the one everyone tries to emulate
Autavia = Argentina; lots going on; sometimes the sum of the parts is less than the whole
hand wound Carrera = Japan; neat, elegant, introspective, but a bit shy
Automatic Carrera = England; robust, but sometimes a bit top-heavy
Calculator = Germany; efficient and direct (runner-up is Switzerland of cource)
Montreal = Italy; brash, yet solid and impenetrable at the same time
Camaro = France; very stylish, but never sure what you're getting
