In good used condition, these still occasionally duck under 1000€ but that's infrequently nowadays. Very good ones reach up around 1500€ and are sometimes priced at ~1750€ or so - unless the condition really warrants it, that's probably a little ambitious.
That watch has one problem with its condition though - it has been very highly polished. If you look at the other examples under: http://www.onthedash.com/Guide/_Chronographs/63.Carrera/h.Barrel_Style_Case/ you'll see that they should have a brushed finish, radiating out from the centre. They all have this finish, even the gold-plated one, with the sole exception being the PVD model.
So the one you're looking at has been polished and thus lost its original case finish. It's an individual thing how important that is, but whether you mind or not, it's an important bargaining tool when it comes to price.
