I concur, although i am looking at starting a theme collection of logo Carrera's and thought this one should be the first, as its possibly the hardest to find. I will be very keen to see how the Haslinger Collection Indy 500 versions go in December at Bonhams. Of course the Indy's, the DX Sunray, MG and Volvo are the ones i have seen photos of, however the histroy of this Shelby eludes me this far. It has been suggested that this watch was comissioned to commemorate the season finale win at Riverside for the 1966 SCCA Trans-Am title. I have searched hundreds of images of Shelby American races, drivers and executives who were involved at the time, with Shelby and Ford and come up trumps so far. I have even tried ex employees to no avail...Some interesting photos did turn up however...
