It is mentioned on onthedash, under 'French Made Heuers', although I fail to see the French connection. My watch came with the original rubber strap, with an unsigned buckle. The strap is stamped 'Made in Framce'. It should be in the 1979 catalog according to OTD, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm aware that similar watches were produced by LeJour and Arctos. Arctossupplied the German military from the early 80's. I don't know if there is a military connection.
Any info on this watch would be greatly received.
Thanks
Stewart
