Stunning looking piece.

Coincidentally I am waiting for one of these to be delivered, but it's a 'Made in France' version.
I've been doing a lot of research, digging around the internet on this model... This is what I have discovered, but I invite anyone to correct me if any info is wrong.

The Ref. 1614 model appears in the '79 catalogue (see on the dash catalogues). This model actually has '1614' stamped on the caseback.

It's is sometimes refered to the 'Champion' watch, as a version was available with the 'Champion' logo on it (as in sparkplugs) - probably a promotion item for motor-racing events etc.

The differences I've researched are not down to fakes as far as I know, so any observations I make below are referring to genuine models, unless noted otherwise...

There seems to be 3 different hand designs/colours.
Some appear to have a red date numerals (like yours) - but I'm not sure if this is 'correct' ?? (anyone care to comment)
Some don't have 1614 on the back, instead a random serial number is in it's place.
Some have 'Incabloc' under the Heuer sheild, some don't.

Yours is the first model I've seen that has Ebauche Suisse on the dial. Very interesting indeed - that could be very rare indeed.
