Not So Sure . . .
Yes, it's a beauty, and my first reaction was very favorable, but upon closer inspection, I am left with a couple of questions / concerns, as follows:- I'm not sure what's going on with the sticker on the back . . . I've never seen one of these stickers on an IDF Autavia . . . It's odd the way the sticker sort of fits around the military marking . . . or maybe the marking has been done, after the sticker was in place? strange.
- And speaking of the military marking, I wish that we had better photos of the case-back and marking. On all the other IDF Autavias that I can find, we see the "M" coming before the numbers; here, we have the 1648, and then the "M", coming after the number. Between that, and the weirdness with the sticker, I'm not sure what's happening here.
It's a great looking watch; in fact, it looks cleaner and fresher than just about any IDF Autavia that I have seen . . . which is another aspect that leaves me wondering about the whole thing.
