Re: Diver reference table

Mark, Stewart, Jarl and any other interested parties:
Mark started the reference table which was all but complete. Since then I have added some new lines but it still only consists of the 1000 range i.e. excludes 840.006 Super Pro. I propose we add the Super Pro (it is a Heuer and a diver) and draw a line under this. I will complete the task this weekend and email it to Mark, Jeff, Stewart & Jarl plus any other interested parties (email me if you want to be included).

The architecture needs some thought. One suggestion is by case size and design. There are 4 sizes of the basic Diver 1000 (28, 32, 38 & 42mm), 980.023 with the crown at the 4 and the Super Pro. Under each case size/design we can break it down further by:
- case thickness (early thick case & plain case back versus later thin case with engraved caseback)
- movement type (quartz & automatic)
- model

eg 844/3
= 42mm case
= early thick case
= automatic
= steel case, black dial

Maybe case thickness is one step we can exclude. Comments and suggestion most welcome.
Regards
Paul
