I agree with Rich, I sold my CS2110 for just under £1500 a while ago. I've seen a few advertised recently for a lot more than that but the crucial thing to remember with these ones is that they're still advertised and not sold yet. I toyed with the idea of getting a Silverstone re-issue recently but the only advantage I could see over the vintage model is the water resistance. I also thought I'd get fed up with explaining to people that "it's actually a TAG Heuer even though it's only badged as a Heuer and it's a re-issue of a 1970's watch even though it's a new watch but it looks old and it's blah blah blah...'
Having owned a CS2110, a CS2111 and a Monaco 69, I'd say go for the vintage, either Monaco or Silverstone. You won't be disappointed with either.

: Hi mate
: Well i guess either or both could be collectable in the
: future....so i think really this one comes down to your personal
: choice. I'm not sure you would get much more than £1500 easily
: for your Monaco re-edition and so i guess it comes down to if
: you like the Silverstone enough to spend the extra money? The
: Silverstone is more limited at approx 2000 units but neither is
: THAT limited to imo make a difference for quite some time.
: Remember these 2 watches wear totally differently, so my advice (i
: think) is to try the Silverstone on and see which
: "sings" to you...if it was me i'd probably either stay
: with your Monaco or spend a touch more and get a nice vintage
: Silverstone or a bit more again and get a 1133g Monaco for
: instance. The vintage will imo outperform the "new" in
: the short to mid term, no doubt.
: Cheers & hope that helps...apologies if i have confused the
: matter even more!
