I have a new band for this watch. I obtained it from the Heuer Service Center after I purchased the watch many years ago because there was a defect in the original band. To make a long story short, my watch was stolen from my room at a resort hotel before I changed bands. Hence, I still have the brand new band, which I received from the Service Center in Sept. 1988. I would like to buy your watch if you want to sell it and if it is in excellent condition. However, I would consider selling the band. By the way, the band has titanium links with 18k gold inserts and consists of 13 links.
: Since you can't provide a model number, perhaps you can post
: a picture(?). Otherwise, you may not get very many responses
: since your description is way too vague I'm afraid. Heuer serial
: numbers are not as "organized" like some other brands.
: Posting pics is actually pretty easy. All you need is a digital
: camera and then follow the tutorial at the top of this page. The
: picture must be hosted on the net prior to adding it here.
: That's easy too, just go to one of the free host sites like
: photobucket.com. You might also want to take a gander at the
: Heuer catalogs posted on this (OTD) great web-site. If your
: watch is from the 1970's (or even early to mid 80's) chances are
: it's in one of the catalogs. Click on the "catalogs"
: icon on the left side of this site's main (opening) page and
: start searching. If you find the model, put a "Want to
: buy" (WTB) post on the "Sales Forum" forum also
: on this site. Hope this helps a bit. Good luck!
