OK, OK . . . because you begged me to see more, I took this quick shot of the (very clean) motor. I mean who can sleep at a time like this ? ? ?

: OK, OK . . . so we went crazy with the Monacos on Thursday,
: celebrating Thomas's heroic acquisition, enduring a very
: difficult seller over an extended period, to bring a super rare
: Monaco into the OnTheDash family.
: Well, my new Carrera didn't involve battling a seller, and it took
: seven days, from beginning to end, but it did involve battling
: some other last-second bidders (snipers), on eBay.
: I was determined to bring this one home because: It has a hex back
: The movement is marked "Ed. Heuer" It has the lowest
: serial number of any Carrera that I have seen the condition is
: absolutely amazing I like the "Fisher" story the
: seller is a nice guy who seems to find lots of old Heuers So I
: don't expect all the applause that Thomas received, but let's
: also welcome this one into the family!
: More photos and information will follow soon, but I just had to
: show this one to our readers.
