I have acquired a beautiful Heuer 510.501 and it has a slightly loose dial (rocks a tiny bit when I rotate the crown back/forth). Should the movement have screws that holds it down? For example, should there be one by the 'D' of the stamp 'unadjusted'?
I've done a bit of photo research online & it seems that there are some 5100's (not necessarily Heuer) that have a 'crinkled' retainer ring that has no screws, and some that seem to have a flat retainer ring and screws. (Mine has a flat retainer ring). NB. This is what I've noted, I'm far from certain that this is a hard & fast rule!
Thanks in advance
