A few snaps from the recent Revival. Sadly my camera battery died mid morning but I managed to get a few mementoes of this astonishing event. It was my first time and every which way I looked a saw another amazing sight. Most of the crowd were dressed up in a vintage outfits, cars and vehicles everywhere including the track and an airfield in the middle of it all. We were treated to an aerobatics display by a Spitfire and Mustang. The noise from planes and cars permeates the air and authenticates the whole experience. Thanks to Paul (Bonhams) for the tickets and lunch, Rich for getting us there in excellent time and the beautiful weather.
On arrival this was sitting in the parking lot greeting the faithful:
First stop Jasper (with Rich now officially Mr Monaco)
The track and pits
Aerial salute
Familiar logo off a vintage petrol pump
Some of the cars auctioned by Bonham's
