: Do all fine Swiss watches have interchangable movement parts?
Surprisingly many do, thanks to widely used movements like the Valjoux 72.

Gaskets aren't particularly bespoke - is your watchmaker able to approximate a fit using one in stock? If your concern is just rain ingress, then an exact replacement probably isn't required.
