I've been going through some old photo archives, and it seems that Jody was never a watch wearer. I assume that his recollection is correct, but it made me wonder whether he might not remember receiving the watch, whether this event didn't register in his mind, etc.

I am seeing that some drivers always wore their watches, even when they drove (Senna and McLaren, for example); others sometimes wore watches; some never wore watches (Scheckter).
