Five-step process, as follows:
- I don't know of a stand-alone article describing the history of the Autavia chronographs. The best place to start is probably the Autavia Chronograph -- Main Page of the OnTheDash.com website. Work through the Reference Table and the hundreds of photographs, and you will have a good sense of the models, versions and variations of the Autavia.
- For the history of Heuer, you may want to peruse the History Section of the TAG-Heuer website.
- After you work through those resources (or even beforehand, if you like), post your specific questins here.
- Just to be certain that you have mastered the history, print out this collage (produced by Shaun Wainstein), and see how many you can identify:
- Repeat steps 1. through 4., as necessary.
Let us know how it all goes.
Thanks for the question.
