First I would like to thank all attendees to spare the time to come to see us. For me it was really fantastic experience to meet in person and exchange ideas and knowledge.
Cheers
Arno
I saw some awesome watches on the wrists. There was a strong family feel and it was just amazing to see Jeff, Ben, Francesco and other talking clients through the displayed collection.
Guess you have a bonhams consulting job now ;-)). We are working on some surprises for the London event so please keep your promises and come over we need you there !
It is a big honor for me to be part of such an international borderless family, lets get going and show the world our beloved Heuers ;-))
: All:
: I have just spent an amazing nine hours in New York City, seeing
: the Haslinger Collection at Bonhams, meeting friends from this
: forum, and catching up with some friends at TAG-Heuer. It was
: absolutely fantastic, from beginning to end, the watches, the
: friends, the stories, the scene, etc.
: Sometimes I wonder why we spend so much time on these watches --
: studying them, chasing them, admiring them, photographing them,
: telling their stories, etc. I mean, in the end, they are just
: watches . . . just things. But a day like today gives me a new
: appreciation of this hobby; as we spend time on the watches, we
: are spending time with friends, usually online but on some
: special cases, in person.
: It was an awesome day . . . I know that many of us will be writing
: about it over the next few weeks . . . just this quick note to
: start this thread, as a rallying point, and to say thanks to all
: who were a part of this wonderful day.
