The crystal is removed by popping out the bezel, removing the movement (as described earlier) and pushing from the inside out.
This can be done with some wood plugs and a bench vise. (done at your own risk)
There is not a lot of pressure on the crystal and it come out fairly easily. Cut some wood to fit against the case to prevent marring and
you need one round plug to fit inside the case to push the bezel out.
To reinstall the crystal it is the same in reverse.
The bench vise sounds scary when we speak of watches but because of its low gearing it gives you precise control over its movement.
If you really want to learn, buy a pile of broken watches on ebay. They are many and cheap. Great way to learn before jumping on the Autavia.
