Hello Lorenzo, hello Justin,
of course, today everybody focusses on the Bonham's auction, but i've not yet finished with the slotters.
To me, it was a nice surprise to meet other slotters on OTD.
It is nice to have a slot track at home (not only to take pictures). I don't have a track at home. This
is why I meet with friends at a track called "Rennpiste", which is a 40 m Carrera track in the shop of
a friend. I've not yet learnt to post pictures on OTD. Instead you might have a look at www.rennpiste.de.
If you click "Bildergalerie" you will see some photos of the track.
As for Justin: You are right, I have two Schoelers. At the moment this seems to be sufficient.
At the "Rennpiste" we have groups of cars from different times of motor racing. Some guys wear
watches related to the age of their cars. This is why we sometimes see people wearing (TAG)Heuer
Carreras or Monacos. Here the circle gets round again. Therefore collecting Heuers and slotracing
are not a contradiction.
Gentelemen, keep your engines clean!
(The watches and the cars)
