Let's all thank Neil, of Chronomaster UK, for deleting this watch from his listings. So many times, when we point out a problem (fake) to a seller, we start hearing that the piece is a "rare prototype" or limited production piece that was made for a specific customer or market.
Neil did the right thing -- after hearing that the pedigree was in doubt, he investigated further, and then pulled the listing. It even made me feel better when Neil sniped a Lemania from me a few days later . . . but that is another story for another day.
Thanks from all of us.
Jeff

: The latin for "buyer beware" I had
: this Montreal which I was guaranteed by the
: seller that it was a rare one. I had to
: withdraw it from sale as I was subsequently
: guaranteed by the more savvy amongst us that
: it was a hotchpotch of bits. I have since
: seen a few more like this hit the market,
: all slightly different, so look out for the
: so called rare ones. This particular watch
: is now back with it's original seller, I
: have my money returned and he has a few
: choice words from me to mull over. Thanks to
: Jeff for your awareness on this matter. Neil
